Not everyone owns a printer, and almost nobody wants to buy one for the two or three times a year they actually need paper. If you are wondering how to print from your phone in Dublin without a printer at home, the good news is that you no longer need to email a file to a friend, queue in a shop, or fight with a library machine that only takes coins. You can send the job from your phone and have the pages delivered to your door.

Printing without a printer: how it works

Our service is fully online, with no shop counter. The whole process happens in your browser, so it works exactly the same on a phone as on a laptop:

  • Open the site on your phone and start an order.
  • Upload your PDFs straight from your phone — from Files, iCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox or wherever your document lives.
  • Choose your options for each file: A4 in 70g draft, 80g or 100g, colour or black & white, single or double-sided, and how many copies.
  • See the exact total before you pay, with no hidden fees.
  • Pay securely by card and we print and deliver across Dublin.

There is no app to install and no account to create. If you can attach a file to an email on your phone, you can place an order.

Getting your document onto your phone as a PDF

We accept PDF files only, which is the format that keeps your layout exactly as you intended. Most documents are already a click away from being one:

  • Photos of paper documents: both iPhone and Android can scan to PDF. On iPhone, open Notes, tap the camera icon and choose Scan Documents. On Android, Google Drive has a scan option that saves straight to PDF.
  • Word, Pages or Google Docs: use Share or Export and pick PDF.
  • Emails and tickets: most apps let you print to PDF or save as PDF from the share menu.
  • Web pages: choose Print from the browser menu, then Save as PDF instead of picking a printer.

If you want your file to come out looking its best, our guide on how to prepare a PDF for printing covers the small checks worth doing first.

What it costs and when it arrives

You can upload up to 30 files per order, each up to 30 MB. There is a minimum printing order of €2.95 and a €1.95 management fee per order, both shown clearly before you pay. For delivery, choose budget weekend delivery from €1.95 or standard 48-hour delivery for €9.95. We deliver across Dublin only, covering Eircodes D01 to D24, and there are no deliveries on Irish bank holidays.

When this beats hunting for a printer

Ordering from your phone makes most sense when the alternative is a trip across the city. If you are on the bus and realise you need a signed form on paper tomorrow, or you are at work with only your phone and a deadline at home, sending the job from your pocket is simply faster than finding a shop that is open, has paper, and does not have a queue. It is also the sensible option for anything long: nobody wants to print two hundred pages on a home inkjet.

The trade-off is planning. We do not offer same-day printing, so this works best when you have at least a couple of days. If your deadline is tight, have a look at your last-minute printing options in Dublin before you order.
